Apple Sauce


    1 pound cooking apples
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 tablespoon water or apple juice

    1. Peel, core and quarter the apples. Cut each quarter into slices.

    2. Place in the saucepan with all the other ingredients, and cover with a lid. Place on a medium heat and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the apples have fallen.

    Serves 2-3.
