Jewish Faith
Conservative

Conservative Judaism follows the mandates established in the Torah and Talmud but in the context of a living tradition. In other words that all Jews ought to help shape the character of Jewish life in harmony with, but not rigidly bound by, the Torah and Talmud.

Conservative Jews sought a middle ground between extreme traditionalism and extreme liberalism. They believe and respect the Torah and the Talmud. They developed as the Jewish community reread the ancient works in terms of new conditions.
