Jewish Faith
Hasidism

Hasidism is a branch of Orthodoxy that stresses tradition. They are sometimes described as ultra-orthodox but it is more that they have traditionalist belief because they follow the traditions and styles of dress of the late 18th century. They view all other thinking as suspicious and worship in a way that stresses enthusiasm, passion and devotion.

Because of the demands made of them they traditionally live in the same area, work in Jewish businesses and mix with only Jewish friends.
